2007 will be the 3rd Annual Rehoboth
Main Street Aquathlon.
The 1/2 mile swim will be an open water
(lifeguarded) swim in the Atlantic Ocean.
The 5 K Run is on paved, flat terrain.
A portion of the proceeds are to
benefit the Rehoboth Beach Main
Street Organization.

Additional information:
The 1/2 mile swim will be an open
water (lifeguarded) swim in the Delaware Bay.
There will also be a 5 K Walk that
begins at the start of the Aquahtlon and follows the same course as
the swim.
A portion of the proceeds to benefit
the Overfalls Maritime Museum
Foundation, an organization created to preserve and maintain the
Overfalls Lightship.

What is an Aquathlon?
An Aquathlon is the combination sport of Running and
Swimming.
Aquathlons can follow any format but generally are seen in
a Swim and Run or a Run, Swim, Run format. Distances are usually
short and very little equipment is needed to do this event.
